Life as a cigar smoker

Stalebread:...have to constantly resist the temptation to open the humidor several times a day just to smell and look even when I'm not going to smoke.

Oh yes, that smell

Oh, the bouquet of Havanas!! No perfume in the world can compare. I just love to "nose" my cigars in their boxes. Nothing abnormal about doing this!

Something about smells can bring utter happiness, excitement, and comfort.

For kids, that smell might be fresh, home-made cookies.

For women, it may be the leathery smell of a pair of newly bought shoes or boots.

The smell inside of my habanos filled fridge does it for me.

I do the same. They're great for that purpose. What else should one do with a whole pile of cigar-less boxes?

*COLLECT 'EM! Save 'em. Savor the moments of when you got your prized product. Give them to fellow botl as souveniers...I just would get a whoozy, heart-felt "aahhh" in the remembrance of my experience in looking at them! I WILL say, though, that in years past, I have ended up with (as I'm sure some of you have) boxes of fakes, i.e. Cohiba Esplendidos with the latch coming off, etc. THOSE boxes feel free...burn away!

Just wondering if I'm the only one, when I....

1. Wake up in the morning thinking of what I will smoke that night.

2. Go to sleep thinking what I will smoke in the morning.

3. I'm on FOH daily, mulitple times, when I never belonged to a forum before.

4. I'm always thinking, "Will my package be there when I get home?"

5. Have thoughts of cigars at least 5 times a day. (sadly, I know it's more than that)

6. Always anxious about being questioned by wife, "How much was that box of cigars?"

7. Can't remember important dates, but I can recall all the CC's I have smoked and whether I liked it or not.

8. Have more cigars than I can smoke, but still look around online for new ones....daily.

Etc.

I must be missing something because I thought all these things were normal.

Anybody who doesn't have these feelings are the crazy ones.

And yes Piggy I'm with you nothing like a good pair of big ****.
