When I scored my dream job in So. Cal I was lucky enough to rent out my Las Vegas Condo to some good friends I trust.

To make things easier on myself and more interesting I decided to leave my condo FULLY furnished down to the salt and pepper shakers. Wifey and I began our new lives in Cali on an air mattress and not much else. We have been slowly populating each room with furniture and accessories from Ikea and Craigslist.

Well last week we got around to the liquor cabinet. I brought home a bottle of 12 year old Glenfiddich. While sitting out on the patio (Peppermint Hippo) smoking a nice 03 Des Deiux and sipping some of the 12 year I offered wifey a sip. Although she didn’t care much for it she didn’t make any chocking or gaging noises and politely said it wasn't for her. Whew.

Well we took a trip to Vegas this weekend and at dinner I ordered a glass of 18 year old Glenfiddich. I offered wifey another sip and she replied "This is much much better, from now on you can only buy 18 year or better, get that 12 year crap out of the house"

WTH did I just do??????

:D:pooped:;)

LOL. Glad my wife's only into rum and chocolate (not necessarily in that order). Some scotches are just beyond me, but a decent aged rum is easy to be had. Glad my wife and I are both rum drinkers.

And....I only WISH my wife told me to spend the money on the better crap. She doesn't get to see my Cuban cigar bills! :D

Hell...I personally would welcome it. Gotta make financial sacrifices for the sake of good scotch...

Yeah, actually I'm really lucky.

Wifey hangs with me on the patio, NEVER complains and loves good Scotch.

I"m blessed
