Has anybody ever had...

I've seen them knocking about,but never tried them.

I'm on a bit of a mission to try some of the off the radar cigars out there.

So I'm looking at some Vegeuros,and wondering if anyone has had any good or bad things to say about these.

All advice appreciated.

The 01s are superb. 06 & 08 not so impressive to me. Perhaps these just need age to shine.

I've got 2 boxes of '06 and love them. One of my favourite torps.

Vegueros on the other hand are pretty bland.

Had two '07 boxes. Still have one.

I prefer these to the Monte #2s.

Somewhat embarrassingly, no. The only real reason for me has been having to make choices.

I found the #2 to be a very good cigar. Plenty of tasty Upmann flavor. I wouldn't hesitate on a box of these.

Haven't tried the Vegueros.

It seems like you all have had good times with these.

I will get some to leave alone for a while.(except one or two...)

I love the upman #2's! It has become one of my favorite cigars. If you get a chance grab a box of hq or if your if you can find a psp box ****** it up. Have been a long time monte 2 smoker and as of late if I had to choose one or the other I would grab the upman.

I had one of Mash's 06 HU #2 and it was an excellent cigar.

I had some H. Upmann No. 2 from 2007. They were rather bland, so I ended up giving most away. If you like mild, feature-less cigars, then the Vegueros are for you.

For me the #2 is the one smoking best of the 08/09 upmanns I have tried. Go for it mate

My favorite torp; currently going through a box from Nov 07. Comparing it to the rest of the line, I find it closer to the Mag 50 in flavour.

I had an H. Upmann 2 years back, but I can't remember much about it, other than taking note that it obviously just didn't leave me over-enthused since I've had no follow up since. But, then again, the H. Upmann Magnum 46's have had one hell of a resurgence in the last few years, so they could have presumably tweaked others in the marca.

I had a Vegueros once (I believe it was a corona or mareva), in a drunken stupor. I remember that it made me sick, since I inhaled the hell out of it just to try to get some presence from it (light hay???). Nothing to be found there, for me anyways.

I think HSA has improved most stock recently,as demand has dropped off,makes sense really,if they are less stretched to fill the market.
