Van55 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 The 'skins have won three games they should have lost and lost one game they should have won. Go figure. Every one of their games so far has been decided on the very last play of the game.

Every one of their games so far has been decided on the very last play of the game. i missed the rams but that must have been long gone before the end? i guess if you make overtime then it is inevitable that the game will be decided on the last play. read what i thought was an excellent article in the wash post on orakpo. it made the point that the three wins have been against play off teams from last year and in those game, not only did we win on the last play but we kept them to a combined 32 points. by any standards, that is good stuff. it might be ugly but who cares. last five seasons, i suspect we'd have been 0-5, losing those games at the finish. very much like the wallabies of today and ten years ago. today, we lose those games. ten years ago, we always found a way to escape. good teams manage it. a bit to go yet to be in the good team category but i think that is a really positive sign, especially with the new systems. also, re the dallas game, sure we probably should have lost it bar the holding call, but on the other hand we should have wrapped it up much earlier. still a long way from perfect and you know that there are going to be a few more stuff-ups this season but every skins fan has got to be a lot happier than 12 months ago. and dallas lost.
