micha Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Dear friends of cultivated cigar porn, today my beloved mailman rang me out of sleep to hand me my latest acquisition from Czar. It's weekend and time for me to take some pictures to share with you. I didn't want to hurt your eyes so I removed the ugly health-warning stickers. Worked good on the untreated boxes, on the varnished one not so much, so don't wonder about that smudgy lid of the Maduros. My first post will be from some Partagas P2s I ordered a 10ct box of. So here it goes...
micha Posted August 28, 2010 Author Posted August 28, 2010 The second one is probably one of the most debated cigars in this forum, the Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios. Some love it, some loath it. Speaking for me, I really like the creamy, chocolatety notes on those. Haven't had a bad one up to now which I can't say about the Secretos which a lot of people prefer. It is surely not the most complex Cohiba - probably not even very much cohibaesque - but it is a perfect cigar to have after a tasty meal with a strong coffee and a glass of water imho. So here come the pics...

I was lucky enough to get a HQ box of the Mag 46's also (Same box code, mine was box 'D' of those HQ Magnums), they look almost exactly like yours, beautiful wrappers! Hey guys, I'll be leaving them in the humidor for probably a month or so before smoking the first one. I don't know about you but I think it would be great to meet up in the forum and do a joined review. Would be interesting to see three different takes on a cigar where we actually could have the same quality. What d'ya think? I could even be persuaded to break the box a little earlier...
