El Presidente Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 and very kind of you for taking the time away from pilloring me to ask. Think nothing of it. Getting back to pilloring now
First Lady Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I think we need to have an Australian Version of "Clean House" I vote for Ken to be the first person up for the show
CanuckSARTech Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 you have better eyes than me. i can't pick it out but by chance, somewhere in there is 'king lear' which i read every year or two (and a few of the others). i think it is one of the greatest, most riveting things ever written (i saw anthony hopkins do it in london many years ago, several times, which made an impact).you'll also find 'fool' by christopher moore - a comedy based on lear which is very funny - somewhere. I could just make out what looked like an upside-down picture of the Bard on a curled-up cover of a book on the top of that pile. Hopkins in London - wow. I would love to have witnessed that also. I do have the Stratford Festival here in Ontario just around the corner from me - world famous Shakespearean theatre, next to England's run. We have some amazing actors come through that theatre - from and through, actually. I've had the chance to see Colm Feore, Christopher Plummer, and a few others in some amazing headline plays. Made a cigar in the park afterwards even more well worth it.

One of my favourite Hopkins things, and Shakespearean things also - hell, so why not combine them?!!?! - was the movie "Titus". Freakin' awesome. With Jessica Lange, Alan Cumming, and Colm Feore. Just amazing.
