An article on the rise of cigar smoking in England, despite new anti-smoking laws.

This is excellent and extremely pleasing in one way, and quite worrying in another. While I'm all in favour of more comfortable places to enjoy a cigar with friends, this runs smack into the concern that cigar smoking is becoming a snobbish behaviour not for the 'everyday' man. That I don't agree with; what I want are more places where (if the mood takes me) I can smoke an inexpensive cigar with a coffee or a beer and not have to worry about 'keeping up appearances'...
