sepp Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I am big fan of the Boli CJ as a short smoke and have been looking forward to this first from a new cab. Oh and remember I have palate as refined as "Thor's Hammer" so you get what I experienced... Prelight aroma was tobaco and the draw was toasted tobaco. The cigar was well constructed so the draw was just right. First third was typical to Boli with an earthy tone to the flavors and a leathery finish to the smoke. Sweet fruity flavors (raisins?) started towards the end of the third. The fruity sweetness continued to build through most of the second third to wane as the cigar moved to it's final phase. A re-clip to freshen the draw at the start of the final third brought the flavors back to life. While the fruity sweetness was still fading, a spicy peppery tang built to replace it. A fine finish from such a well constructed cigar. Looking forward to the rest of the cab. glenn

bassman Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Since you title was Bolivar PC, I'll mention that I've started smoking from a cab of BOli PCs from TEB MAR 08 and they are superb- better than a recently finished cab from 06.
