I am sure that it was only a coincidence that when Qld hit a 12-0 lead...NSW received the next 7 penalties in a row...and every rub of the green. You see.....we know it was an evil NSW plot. My kids know it. The dog suspects it. That is being a Queenslander

It was great to see a competitive game this evening. Well done to NSW for taking it up to us and they were unlucky not to get a win.

Pretty good game to finish the series. I like watching greg bird play for nsw he gave them some good mongrel last night. qlsd superstars like billy slater obviously played great and lifted when they needed.

I have to stop logging in to FOH on game nights because we get delayed telecast so i knew the result after this thread was posted! bugger

not to rub it in but i have absolutely no doubt that the refs were on a mission to "even" things up. a series of little decisions, especially in the first half, every one to nsw, was blatently obvious to all.

that said, by far the best game of the series.

next year should be a cracker (weren't we saying exactly this 12 months ago?). no more izzy but hodges back. looks like locky (what a field goal - shades of roger gould) and petero will be back. who knows about slater and inglis, though a great shame if they are lost to the game. and young blokes coming up like lowe, yow yee, teo and possibly gillett (if not next year, then watch for this bloke to hurt nsw for the next decade).

best of all - two at suncorp.
