Wicky Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I don't know about the rest of you but I am looking forward to the following poll... King of Corona Gorda's??? That's easy. Bolivar Coronas Extra. Awesome!
Van55 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Smoked all but the Open. Best ever was one example of the T, but that's not nearly a big enough sample on which to draw a conclusion. CORO and RASS never disappointed me.
lemmycaution Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I don't know about the rest of you but I am looking forward to the following poll... King of Corona Gorda's??? I've actually been thinking that same thing since the poll started. Nothing like a corona gorda...
in0gravity Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Partagas Serie D4 all the way. Then the Trinidad Robusto T. Surprised to see that the SLR Regio is missing. This is also a cigar I love
michaelhealy Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 I voted for the Partagas Number 4 as it is my favourite. i havent tried a Cohiba yet as i am new but cant wait.
El Presidente Posted July 12, 2010 Author Posted July 12, 2010 So Cohiba Robusto just outpoints Partagas Serie D 4 followed by Bolivar Royal Corona, Ramon Allones Specially Select, Trinidad "T" Robusto and daylight next At least you now know what will not be deleted any time soon
yiorgosm Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I smoked most of these during Christmas last year. My top three were The Cohiba Robusto, D4 and Trinidad T, in that order.
winelover Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I didn't realise just how popular the Robusto T's are. I've never tried one and feel curious. If I like the other trinidads such as the coloniales and the reyes, then I should like the Robusto T would you think? About the pole I voted PSD4 but come to think of it the last I had wasn't that great and before then my box was from 05.

I am a big Trinidad fan as well. Unlike the other vitolas, the Robusto T is great right out of the box. I really prefer several years of age on my Fundadores, Coloniales, Reyes, and Robusto Extras.
SethLG Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Interesting final poll, those are about the numbers I was expecting for the most part.
Charltonc Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Looking at the votes and I'm dumbdfounded... somebody voted for the Monte Open?! No offence, but are you serious?!?! I would rather not smoke than smoke that cigarbage
BeeStinga Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I am surprised that the Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure Number 2 is not more popular. Has a good following in some circles but maybe a bit of an under the radar robusto?
Habanakane21 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I love me a robusto now!!! 1. PSD4 2. Epi 2 3. RASS 4. Royal Corona If I could afford the CoRo I imagine that it would being my #1.I just don't smoke them enough. But these top 4 of mine I smoke are my go to's!!! When others let me down...they're always there to pick me up.
jsd Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Wow those results are shocking. I LOVE the Short Churchill and Epi #2 and can't believe they didn't get more votes. Only had a few CoRos, but it was the cigar I chose to smoke to celebrate the birth of my 3rd and last child a few years ago (it was very good btw). Not sure if the Epicure Especial fits in to the Robusto category but I love those as well.
Styler Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 I just can't understand all the CoRo love, maybe the ones I've had have been too young. For me the RASS is #1 by miles, then it's a toss up between the BRC and the Connie 1, I voted for the connie as it needed a bit of love This may be a stupid question, but what's daylight?
riazp Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Robustos is my favorite size with probably the Petit Corona in a very very close second. From the robustos I had on this list, the PSD4 has always been a favorite of mine, I've had a couple of boli Rc's and I loved both of them, i've had a couple of epi's, it was enjoyable but tasted a tad young still, i'll have to revisit them in a year. Last night I had my first RyJ Short Churchill, and I must say, it was an exellent smoke, very nice flavors, and was only about a year old (box date abr 10), I can defenitly see this cigar entering my regular rotation. I have still yet to try the RASS and VR Famoso but something tells me that I will enjoy them
CohibaBehike Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Hard to choose! Some of my favorite sticks are on that list... Trinidad Robusto T
seahag Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Out of the ones on the list that i have tried, i think the Trini T gets the nod.
thechenman Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Out of the ones on the list that i have tried, i think the Trini T gets the nod. @ seahag...that may be one of the most disturbing avatars I've seen...
Orion21 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 I've had more outstanding BRC's than any other Robusto. Love the flavor profile as well.
