If offered both right now...I will be honest and say that I wouldn't know which one to choose.

Shows you the depths to which the D4 has unfortunately fallen.

One of my least favorite vitolas.......but hey thats just me. I do have a couple of 10 boxs of PSD4's from 09 that are young but tasty...and ERDM Choix Supreme is a favorite of mine, so there were my two votes.

I'm tried a CoRo......I just don't get it. Maybe I had a bad example.

For me the best robusto in current production would be the Trinidad Robusto T. After that would come the Cohiba Robusto. If I had a third pick, it would be for the PSD4.

My best and second best, in no particular order, would be BRC and Trinidad T, followed by PSD4. I've never had a Cohiba that was very good.

CoRo could easily be my everyday smoke

Never really had a RASS I have enjoyed, its a shame too b/c I like the RA line of cigars a lot and the RASS are fairly cheap

I had 09 PSD4's and they were horrible. I really like my 07 ERDM CS (outstanding) and the 09 Boli RC's are fantastic as well.

I'm a bit crazy...here's my 3:

1) Trini Robusto T

2) Partagas SD4

3) H Upmann Connie 1

The ongoing results of the poll closely reflect purchasing patterns experienced here over the past 12 months except that D4 outpaces sales of Cohiba Robusto by a small amount.

Epicure Number 2 was one of the first Cubans I smoked, and my first moment of Cigar Nirvana. It will always have a special place with me.

Second from that list would have to be the Trinidad. Haven't tried the CoRo yet, but one day for sure.

Even though I'm probably the only person here who is willing to actually admit that I like the Open (and get the obligatory beating around the ears) it's nowhere near the top of my list. The Trinidad is #1 for me by a hair, CoRo second. The PSD, RASS and Choix Supreme all form a second tier in that order and I like them quite a bit, but the gulf between the 1st tier and 2nd tier is huge.

The D4 in my opinion is truly amazing, I have never been disappointed by one, but the BRC is incredible when it is on the money, I have never had a bad BRC but some that are lacking.

I have to admit that I havent tried the Trini T. I've also only had 1 example of an 08 Coro. I will say that I have smoked through more than 1 box of 08 Upmann Connie 1's and they have all been stellar. Recently these have slipped into a sick period but they will be back in a little while, boy were these amazing fresh. IMO they were the best of 08- which was a hallmark year by my standards. They have the legs to go for decades.

I don't how they were before or how they have been since, but my 08 boxes of Upmann Connie 1s have been spectacular. I could certainly foresee Coro or PSD4 or Trinidads leading the field, but I'm surprised the Upmanns had such a poor showing. Do people just not like these, or is nobody smoking them?

I cannot vote for the best in a vitola that I very rarely buy,

and have never really been able to appreciate.

The Hermoso #4, though often wrongly (IMHO) confused with the Robusto,

seems to me more balanced, though on the edge of the girth/length equation.

The true Robusto, to me, falls clearly on the wrong side.

The gague itself is only part of the issue, as I have no problem with DCs.

I don't know about the rest of you but I am looking forward to the following poll... King of Corona Gorda's???
