asmith Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I mentioned it earlier in the year that I will be in Dublin for a wedding. My one and only free night in the Emerald Isle is Tuesday 13 July and am hoping that I can meet up with a couple of our great cigar clients for a smoke and some good laughs. As I have no idea about Dublin and where to go for a cigar please your suggestions are welcome. Am looking forward to meeting you guys and have a great night.
PADDYWHACK121272 Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Smithy, great to hear you'll make it, leave it in the capable hands of the Irish contingent and we'll Sort you out. Don't forget to pack your wellies. Looking forward to it...

yiorgosm Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 The 13th sounds like a good date... I will send an email around and hopefully we will have a few people there. We normally herf in the Morgan Hotel in Temple Bar, a nice place with a comfortable smoking area. I will give you directions and all on how to find it...
Ryan Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 ..with a couple of our great cigar clients.. That'll be a quiet night so.. I'm really sorry I won't be around for this, it'll be a good night. I don't get back to Dublin until the 17th, will you have left Ireland by then?

No, because they make the trip from the bar stool to the jax slightly more comfortable....

I don't actually own any Wellies, so will just have to go with the normal shoes. As for the Guinness, love it, I would have thought from all the posts over the years anything with alcohol in it works for me. I fly to Scotland on the 17th sorry.

Look forward to meeting you Smithy; you're helpfully arriving after my thesis is finished and before I fly to Vegas for a stag. Very considerate of you! I probably mentioned it before but if you want a few passes for the Guinness Storehouse let me know, I should be able to sort you out. It's well worth a trip, even if just for a pint in the Gravity Bar... ps ANd see if you can nab a few of the Tampa's and Czar's when Rob's not looking!
