finecigar Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I came across this beautifully made book presented by national geographic. I got it at a barnes and nobles- really worth the $25. I never have read too much into the rare species across North America but those of you who do travel to USA and are interested or don't know much, (like myself) you should definitely check this one out. Being an artist and having respect for all hobbies, I find this book rather inspirational, vivid, well-done, and overall quite an enigma among all other books of pictures. (Here is a link to see more) http://blogs.nationalgeographic.com/blogs/...ies-photos.html Please check this out and sorry if this has no importance to cigars .
MIKA27 Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Wow, nice looking book fine cigar. Not everything posted should be about cigars, as much as we all love them, there's a great deal more to life IMO. Thank you for sharing your find. I'm going to see if I can get my own copy at Borders as it really is amazing. I love National Geographic! Mika.
Fuzz Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Bugger! From the thread title, I thought this was going to be something to fire up Ken. You know, may be a good recipe for endangered whale or tuna...
Ryan Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I had some correspondence with Joel Sartore a few years ago. There was a picture in National Geographic of some brant geese that I was interested in. Here it is I still haven't gotten around to buying it. Nice guy, fantastic photographer.
