In this tasting however, the sweetness was so intense it became the defining charachter. Maybe Vanilla Extract on the rocks is the wrong beverage pairing for the Des Dieux, Rob.
bunburyist Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 great review - very much enjoy the the des dieux. Funnily enough found them quite peppery when I first tried them back in 2000 or so. Guy must be cringing every time you say 'dez' dieux....

ChanceSchmerr Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 The comments remind me of one of the best cigars I ever tried, an aged HDM Du Roi....same sweetness, blew me away on how good it really was. Prez - fine form. Very nice haha
acidmase Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 You guys said "SLR" a couple times in the video, which SLR blew you away?
