tugboat Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 ...The seas were angry that day my friend... The worst I was ever in we had 50' to 55' seas and chasing a container barge we lost for 2 days. We finally retrieved it but not until about $190,000 in damage was done to the tug and barge. Not bad considering it was going aground if we did nothing. I was running as Mate at the time on a 100' tug with a north sea bow on it. (thank God)
