ucla695 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Great presentation, but for that coin, they can keep it.
SethG Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I thought all the guidance was 500-700 per box (although that was when we thought a box was 25!). I'd lean towards 500-600 still, that would be 50-60 a stick and sounds like what they would charge for a regular LE like that.
MIKA27 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 They look fantastic, but also, very similar to the Trinidad line albeit a different band.
finecigar Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Can't wait to smoke one of these. My excitement is growing Thank you Cohiba!
gammon Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 . the Chohiba bihikes are selling for about $7,000(Hong Hong dollars),for Each cigar. This will convert to about US $1,000 or there abouts. the box is in lock and key with armed guards. The entire box wil cost about a new car. so if anyone interested... should make arrangement to go to South east Asia.

That is for the 2006 anniversary release of only 4,000 cigars. The humidors with cigars are going for about ~$40,000USD now. Original price was $18,000USD. On another note...anybody else like the new adherence to the American cigar perception in that advertising quip? The huge ring gauge allowing the smoker to enjoy the "full intensity of flavor?"

It's impossible to speak for all Americans, or even a majority, median, or minority thereof, but speaking for myself, I can assure you not all Americans adhere to that mantra
samb Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Personally, I think they look great. But at the price that one will pay for them, I would be afraid to smoke one.
smokem Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 I thought James estimated 40% more than the std cohiba line. Maybe something new was posted? Also, prices in Italy have been posted (not sure of the legitimacy nor if that was also here), but based on that they would may be available for as low as 20-30 USD a piece price range (of course depending on where they are required). My assumptions may be flawed, but one can always hope. If I could pick one up for that price, I'll be a sucker and have to try one. But if more aound 100, too rich for my blood.
aavkk Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 No thanks, I've got a list of 08 regular production that I need first. This is very low on the priority list even at the $35/stick price point and certainly won't even be considered at north of $50/stick

That's what I thought too, which would make sense. 100/stick is an LE price, this is supposed to be a new line of regular release (but premium) cigars. 20-30 USD makes sense. Wonder why Rob hasn't chimed in yet?
