ERDM Petit Corona 1999

-Bandless, wrapper had a Greenish tint, well constructed, felt light in hand

-Vegetal opening with loads of pepper, lots of smoke pours out onto the scene

-Light opening in profile, moderately quick burn rate

-What it lacks in profile so far, it makes up for in flavor, a bit of honey on my teeth with a clean spice to it

-cedar wood, popcorn and continued pepper is what I taste at the end of the 1/3

-Ash is very dark, like a muted Black color, tight….ash stayed on surprisingly for about 1.75”

-A light, sweet custard flavor is noticed in the 2/3

-Smoke is a Yellowish-Grey color and thick, Medium profile in 2/3

-Cigar is very sharp with its transitions of flavors, aged tobacco aftertaste, very enjoyable so far

-I was a little skeptical about this cigar being a little too light in profile before I started but that was addressed soundly in the 2/3

-Sweetness still resonates in my mouth, don’t know if my mouth is sticky from dinner or this cigar, either way, it’s a win-win for me right now

-Cigar finishes nicely with a great flavor profile of syrup/pepper/tobacco and leather……very chewy I think and a solid Medium at this point

-Again, I am spoiled by a great member here who provided me this aged beauty

-82 mins smoke time

-9.1/10

Thorough and sweet; as in the past. I enjoy all of your fine reviews. Seems like a nice cigar!
