-Love the Partagas 898 and hopefully will like this

-Solid construction, wrapper slightly wrinkled with some noticeable veins

-Clip the cap and find a lovely twig inside, gotta love Cuba!

-Slow opening with was some sweet wood, spice and light crème, probably more spicy wood than any other flavors

-Tough initial Cuban draw, would rate a medium start in profile

-Ash is tight, Grey log

-2/3 involves some Cinnamon, clove, spiced wood and dried fruits

-Medium amounts of smoke, draw has opened up nicely, very relaxing, classic smoke, solid Medium in profile

-Sharp burn with not much of an aftertaste, cigar almost smells like a scented candle during Christmas

-A real shame they discontinued this cigar and hard to find as well

-I would say a real complex cigar as the flavors flow freely but each knows their part, RA got it right with this

-First cigar I have experienced “Cool Smoke”……I read this somewhere else and fully agree, almost like a Kool Menthol cigarette feel, weird but I swear by it

-Final 1/3 was salty/sweet, dried fruit continued……..all very smooth

-Really enjoyed this cigar!
