  1. 3 cigars for $2200? Either this guy has disposable income or he’s not too intelligent. No offense intended. Sounds more like the ladder entrusting a troglodyte with that task. Was he hunting Behike releases?
  2. I own a house in Maine. Love the state. But they are going crazy.
  3. I purge if I’m putting it down for 18-24 hours. I’m guilty of finishing cigars up to 24hours after light. Often cannot tell the difference. But that is also after a freshie…so I’m sure my palate is compromised.
  4. I rated 4-6 across the board. When it’s on, I give it a higher rating. I just get too many plugs and less-satisfying flavor experiences compared to Famosos, which I rate 7-10 across the board. Don’t get me wrong, you need these in your humidor…but their roll-consistency drives me a bit crazy at times. But all my boxes are probably 2013 to 2017. YMMV. I trust HU2 and MC2 more in the pyramids.
  5. I think that Grupos team made some really good NC Montecristos a few years back.
  6. Arguably, the four best ground strokers in the world are meeting in the semis. Sinner is showing a bit of that semi-meek durability. But he has discovered “vitamins”. (Look at his physicality vs Shelton.) I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t beat the aging Djoker. Fritz is getting much better, but Alcaraz looks like he could play 10 sets in 95F effortlessly. I’m going to “boldly” bet that Alcaraz gets his third straight, especially looking at Sinner’s elbow. But if Sinner is healthy it’s a toss-up. Anybody else have a different opinion?
  7. I’m not an angler…..does that thing have teeth?
  8. Did you see the Ferrari he rented to get to the LCDH in Marbella?
  9. Happy hunting. I used to get monte 2 for $175/box in Madrid on business trips in the late 1990s. The good ole days.
  10. Will those actually sell for $37/stick in the LCDH?
  11. How’s the CC stock in Spain now?
  12. I think there are so few Cuban cigar profiles compared to NC cigars that each one has a specific flavor that becomes associated with “twang”. But there are many NC cigars now that compete equally with Cubans….most often I associate their twang with baker’s spices, while my favorite Cubans show floral, coffee, and baker’s spices. IMHO.
  13. I went with a whole-house Kohler (their largest air cooled resi-generator). Natural gas powered. If you are willing to stomach the expense, it's a nice amenity to have. I've used smaller gas-powered units in the past and they work fine but are a hassle.
  14. Still haven’t seen a desktop humidor build quality that matches Elie Bleu.
  15. If its Tikka Masala, I always ask for dark meat. So rich. If TIkka Kebab, I always go for the marinated breast. Cheers.
  16. Favorite world sports: Premier league soccer, followed by France and Spain Tennis, golf USA - basketball, football, baseball
  17. For $17-20 there are world class NCs in the US at the 6X50 range that are just as good as the best Cuban robustos (all of which sell for $23usd per stick now).
  18. That final was one for the ages.
  19. I thought Alcaraz was the man. But Sinner may be unbeatable right now. His “ahem” allergy meds seem to be helping his strength.
  20. Pretty dark, but still not terrible humor.
  21. Could you tell me where to find those nice Aussie girls that sleep with 100+ guys a day? I can’t find them anywhere. Thx in advance.
  22. Been watching some matches. This kinda looks like another Sinner - Alcaraz final. Alcaraz is 7-4 all time against Sinner, I think. And I’m not sure he’s beatable on clay right now. Zverev might have a chance but Sinner toyed with him in Australia. And Zverev is only getting older.
