  1. It's less attractive to kids because I know lots of teenagers who smoke cigars /s This is also going to be a problem for authentication purposes now in these regions.
  2. It hasn't made me lower my enjoyment, just changing my habits in terms of what I'll smoke. For example, I'll still feel ok about smoking a RASS or a JL2 on a regular basis because the sticks are still relatively inexpensive. But whereas before a CoRo was something to smoke whenever it's a special occasion only stick. When I run out of cigars I'll see what the situation is - but I won't be rebuying Cohiba at these prices and that's too bad. Price of stick is definitely now a huge factor when reviewing a stick or recommending to friends and the tolerance for Cuba's less than stellar QC is going to go down. Retailers are gonna have to prepare for that. As with all things - value is a central question. That was once reserved only for very limited editions and BHK and now that consideration is across the board. EDIT 2: Long term I again question how bright of a move this was for Habanos SA. Having a limited customer base over the long run for a product is never a winning move and cigars aren't cars or houses.
  3. The issue is everyone keeps referencing HK like it's some sort of infinite gold mine in perpetuity. It's never a smart business move to put all your eggs into one region's basket even if in the short term the market will bear the prices and demand will purchase the supply. HK markets are pretty fickle around a lot of things, HSA may find themselves holding the bag if the next "thing" comes around.
  4. I don't know who is making these decisions, but it's clear they lack any long term vision. An increase of this magnitude will cause people to either quit the hobby or smoke NCs once they're out. Even if revenue stays the same or increases, the loss of market share will become an issue. Add to that to the fact that Cuba's quality control is very suspect compared to NCs and this is all around silly business decision making.
  5. Going outside regularly and not being glued to a screen Only half kidding.
  6. This is an F- fake. Like holy shit.
  7. I don't have any doubt there is harm from cigars. It certainly isnt zero. I'm be curious to see a more detailed study over time of their use depending on various factors such how often, what kind size/length wise, etc. @Cigar Surgeon thanks doc. nobody has their first drink as straight scotch.
  8. What do you estimate the cash value on this today? How many millions?
  9. The Bills win that toss, the Chiefs go home. Defenses going into overtime in a football game, especially like the one last night in the playoffs and the cold are gassed. Not having both teams touch the ball in the playoffs is criminal.
  10. the rules should be changed to mimic college or at least give both teams a chance at the ball regardless of what happens on the first possession. If the first team kicks a FG, the other team still gets the ball. Why not extend this?
  11. Titans, Green Bay, Bills, and Tampa Bay moneyline parlay. Let's go.
  12. Didn't smoke for a few months, went over to my wineador and noticed a puddle underneath. Couldn't figure out why. I got good gamed by the dewpoint. Lost a few BHKs, lusis, monte 2s, some hoyo's had mold. I was so upset. Lost over $500 worth of smokes.
  13. too many do to a humidity problem in my wineador =(
  14. Complete joke. Same was said about 4G. This is yet another attempt to screw with people.
  15. If you enjoyed it thats what matters! My fav in 2020 was a diplo 2.
  16. I have a BHK52 box and frankly wasn't that impressed.
  17. Cigar Oasis did not work for me. Is there any automated integrated temp and humidity control system in a wineador?
  18. There's still a ways to go in the study itself. They want to achieve 50 more infection and extrapolate out but the early data is very promising. Also, it's not political. Pfizer is not part of Warp Speed and took no government aide. In a perfect world where everything works, production and distribution ramp up in early 2021, medical staff and the vulnerable get it first in the Spring and its available to the general populace in the Summer. If all goes well, the world starts to return to normal in Fall 2021. God's speed to all.
  19. One of 3, Club 33 serves alcohol. Paying 15K for this place is lunacy.
  20. Depends on time but I'll try to make it!
  21. Thanksgiving is at my house as usual. Turkey, mashed taters, gravy, baked macaroni, green bean caserole and the like. Ill have a smoke after dinner to help digest. Anyone else ever notice that? Smoking helps with the overfull feeling? Happy Thanksgiving friends!
  22. Thanks for replying mate, glad you had a good time!
  23. Looked awesome, congrats on the trip! Super dumb question, did they have BHK in stock in Havana?
  24. As having just returned from there, thank God. Europeans have an obsession with smoking cigarettes 24/7. I do not understand it. I am not sure what the delineation between small and large cigars will be. Perhaps the cigarillos will be banned?
