Love the Dalmore with a cigar.

NHL Playoffs in August. Hard to get your head wrapped around it. Flames tanked (unfortunately). Still... make a nice meal and settle into whatever game is on. Punch 48 to close it off.

Fantastic weekend at Banff Springs that was capped off with a round at the country club and a Punch 48.

Sweltering hot in Cgy this week. Took a break from work, hockey (my son’s hockey) and the heat to chill out in the garage with a cigar, a rum and a flick. The Connie B is surprisingly hitting the mark tonight. The rum is good and the movie (The Gentlemen on Netflix) is on point. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it.

Afternoon Mag 50. I got it in just as a thunderstorm came through... time to reload.

Back in Calgary after a vacation in Kelowna. First order of business is an uninterrupted, guilt-free, and relaxed 2017 Cohiba Siglo 3 on my patio... As I type this, I am motivated to smoke another.

Vacation week in Kelowna. About the only place to smoke a cigar is on your boat in the middle of the lake. Even the condos are 100% smoke free (including balcony’s). Nonetheless, a little Punch Punch.

I hear ya. I feel like the pendulum has swung a bit too far on smoking in general. It would be nice, if only once and awhile, to be able to smoke a cigar publicly without being shamed.

I agree with you. It can be the best and worst of times right now. For me and my family, it’s the former. I hope our fortune is just as infectious.

En route to a 3 cigar week. On vacay for two weeks after a quick grind on Monday. Heading to Kelowna to drink some marginal, over priced wine... still, it could be much worse.

A quiet Friday in Cgy. Mixed weather all week. Man oh man is my mind fried by Wednesday as a result of Microsoft Teams. They never tell you about the downside of graduating beyond the tools in exchange for back-to-back meetings everyday, all day. Still... there’s something to be said for midday rollerblades with my son (when a meeting wraps up early) and perpetual 0 minute commute times. Stay safe all.

I hear that. Chilli from your own pot is just as good. Goddamn that series is sick. Jordan man. Every time I go to watch an episode I think, “ sh*t. I better do this right or I won’t be able to face myself in the mirror”. With all this crazy stuff going on. I wish we could just step out and think about all the great accomplishments out there that transcend race and status. A good CC and a glass of vino puts it into perspective. Stay safe brother.
