  1. Yeah bought from a reputable source but not here. RH is at 65% and I let it dry box for 48h
  2. So this is my second or third hoyo epicure 2 from that 2016 box and I don’t understand. Wrapper is light brown, construction is great, draw is perfect but flavors are not there at all. No cream, no chocolate, no tea nothing, just an underlying ashy taste. I had some good ones before. Is epicure 2 usually consistent? Anyone have anything to say on SLE box codes? Does 2016 was a good year for hoyos? I read that those were usually great even young? Any input?
  3. A 5ver of PsP2 and half a box of RASCC
  4. Hey guys, going to Panama this summer and I'm wondering if anybody knows any good places to buy cigars there? What about the prices?

  8. Man a snake in the toilet bowl, not nice!
  9. What cigars enter in the custom roll category? I mean I went to Cuba once and I smoked my first cigar there. I was in Vinales and there is a barn when they make and sell cigars. I bought my first cigar there for 1$ and bam! fell in love with cigars. My gf now hates my new hobby even if she takes a puff or two once in a while. She is always reminding about that first cigar and how she find it was the best one I had and that she could taste banana, chocolate, cofee and all... Anyways that's my little story! But what I mean is how can you know those famous custom rollers? Where do we find them? Does the Vinales barn is the home of famous custom roller?
  10. Thanks all, I'm always looking for a new cigar book to buy!
  11. Holy crap that pic is scary!
  12. Nice review! I have some 03' in my humidor but the 2 first ones I had were not great. Construction sucked, draw was awful...
  13. Well you got to do it with milder cigar at first or even pipe it will be easier. Most important you have to blow out like 75% of the smoke with your mouth and the rest with your nose. With practice you'll be able to retro whenever you want.

  19. I was about to write something but think you resume it too well. That's about what I do too, I know I retrohale at every puff, I kinda don't understand why some folks just don't do it, as it was a revelation for me,you can taste the flavors even more easily by retrohaling!
  20. Happy my question helped some folks here...I thought it was already asked for a 1000 times!

  23. Start time: 2h15 Finish:3:45 Pairing: water and a corona at the end. bought in march 2012 box from may 2011 So I bought a 5ver last march, had 2 of them and did not like them at all they were harsh and probably too young. Decided it was time to smoke another one this weekend! Construction is perfect the wrapper is beautiful with a milk chocolate color. I did a perfect cut with my xikar cutter and the draw was perfect! 1st: Started off with some pepper, not too strong but really present. After a couple of puff the pepper let place to a sweet creamy taste with some spices but I was not able to point out what it was. A little later I was clearly able to taste some sweet chocolate and that was the main flavor with some unknown spice. 2nd: Started with the same sweet chocolate but now I can taste that the spice, it's cinnamon. As the 2nd third goes by I had some burn issue but nothing that I could not correct. Flavors have now changed to a more dark chocolate, the sweetness is completely gone but the cinnamon is still present. last third: Got about the same flavors as 2nd third, dark chocolate with some spice. Near the end the flavors started to get harsh a bit but some purging helped to continue a bit. All in all,the Hoyo epicure no.2 is an incredible cigar, mild but really flavorful and complex. It got some nice flavors changing and I highly recommend it as an afternoon break!
