    I just read this on another vendor's website: "Habanos S.A. price changes for 2013 will come into effect toward the end of September." Less than a year from the last price increase! Is this true, or just some selling strategy?

    I saw two regional editions in Amsterdam airport: Punch Royal Benelux 2009 and ERDM NL #1 Paises Bajos 2011. What u think of them? Are they worth the money? I might get a box on the way back to Canada. Thanks

    Gretzky and Serhiy Bubka. Bubka broke the world record for pole vaulting 35 times and still holds the world record of 6.15 meters. Don't know much about his personal life or if he's a role model or not, but definitely he's one of the greatest athletes ever.

    This February, in Varadero, I was talking with the LCDH ladies about LGC brand and they told me that the only vitola rolled in 2012 was the #3. At that time I thought she confused LGC #3 with LGC #4, but now it make sense.

    I suggest using one of the banks in Varadero (calle 31 & 36 as I remember) or the one at Plaza Americas, depending where you wanna do your cigar shopping. This way you get the best exchange rate and you can use your Visa so you don't have to fly in with a lot of cash. Expect to stay in line for about 1 hour though.

    I found this forum in '07-'08 when I start smoking cigars. I didn't have (and still don't have) any friends with this passion in their blood so I spent hours and hours online searching and reading about Cuban cigars. This is how I found this forum and the czar website. I only joined FOH this summer although I've been reading the posts for quite a few years.

    This is so true. It's very hard to stay honest and not take advantage of any illegal opportunity when you have no food to put on the table for your kids. Unfortunately a few of them, mostly the ones on privileged positions, have no limits on doing this and they live a much better life than most of us in the free countries. This might be one of these situations. Maybe he got his hands way too deep in the cookie jar. But no worries, someone else will take his place after a while.

    I used to collect vinyl records myself but had to part with them when I moved to Canada. Still have a few though. Not much time for other hobbies since my little one showed up screaming & kicking but I like hiking, rock climbing, spelunking, mostly outdoor activities. And movies, although I haven't seen a movie from start to finish in over a year
