Yes, the Trinidad Robustos T are a new item in 2009 and they are exceptionally good.

Yes, the Cohiba Grand Reserva is a new item in 2009 and is a stunning cigar already.

But for me the 2009 Habanos of the Year is a 2002 La Gloria Cubana Medaille D'Or #1 that I "discovered" for the first time last summer. The price is right. The flavors are fantastic. The balance is spot on. And these are NOT mild cigars on my palate. Honey, vanilla, toasted tobacco and a nicotine buzz by the end of 1/2. I've smoked a dozen of them and loved them all.

Van, this could have easily been my cigar of the year as well. I absolutely love this cigar for its flavor profile and its consistency. The 02's are delicious. Good choice

These are great cigars... but I have a box of the #3s that are just as good. What glorious cigars.
