Bartolomeo Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 A little history about me: 34 years old, Smoking cigars for a couple of years but CC only in the last 90 days really, have purchased 60+ different singles to figure out what I like before taking the plunge on a box. I have met some wonderful friends on this board like PigFish, Tom Waits, El Presidente, all wonderful and helpful people I will have more reviews later....... Bart H Upmann Magnum 48 EL OPM JUN 09 Easy pre draw with some pepper Dark wrapper with some veins White-Grey ash Very easy draw the whole smoke Even burn as well Flavors were Chocolate, Cocoa and was rich & smooth tasting, like a velvet Chocolate milk when you were a little kid I would say this is a strong Medium cigar First couple of pulls offered me really no stand out flavors but after the first 1” the wonderful flavors kicked in, comes alive in the 2/3 very nicely This is a great, small smoke that I think is very good now but even better after some aging This is the first box I will probably buy, its that good I gave it a 9.1/10 now with a potential of 9.5 after aging 50 mins total smoke time
