Construction: Thin, smooth, shining, oily colorado color wrapper, cold aromas of a leather, vanilla, cinnamon, the dry earth

Draw: perfect

1\3 - Aromas of a thin leather, dry flowers, dried fruits, rye bread, a fried string bean

Taste – sweet, full, velvety

2\3 - caramel and creamy tone, nougat, a thin leather, noble wood.

The taste strengthening is appreciable, each draw becomes stronger, smoking thus remains cool.

Taste – is bitter-spicy, long aftertasting.

3\3 - A leather, suede, a fried filbert. Shades of fried mushrooms, tomato soup, celery.

Taste – is bitter-spicy.

The cigar of an average strenght is closer to the strong. Balanced and harmonious. Unequivocally evening cigar demanding a special case. A cigar not for beginners, after a supper.

Producer (HSA) has kept firm «bolivarians» charisma – fruit sweet in taste and earthy aromas, wrapper «carmelito» (red & brown) colour. Demands support.

Thanks for the review mate, they look outstanding. Your description of the 3/3 really makes me want to get a box of these :hungry: Its a shame for Bolivar that their recent EL was so poor, they produce great sticks.

Thanks for the review. I've never experienced fried mushrooms, tomato soup, or celery in a cigar, but it does sound interesting

Bolivar Benelux Fab RE OPA JUN 09

Bought a fiver of these to sample....about $16/each

Maduro Brown wrapper, oily and well made

Even burn and perfect draw

Initial puff was Grassy and Vanilla Beans.........thought it was a Cohiba for a moment B)

Flavors included Cocoa, cayenne pepper, vanilla and a dry leather aftertaste with some heat

Very smooth cigar for the most part

Lost some of its complexity and flavor in 2/3.......maybe due to youth?

I enjoyed this but prefer the Boli Simones overall

Thinking Father Time might due this one some justice down the road

9/10

Thanks for the review. I brought a few of them from Belgium two weeks ago together with a few Punch Royals, some LGC Belux no. 1 and one Fonseca no. 4. Good to read that the Boli Fabuloso smokes well.

Best,

Michel
