Greetings All,

I joined FOH earlier this year and just been lurking around, trying to learn about Habanos from the very knowledgeable folks on this board. I have been a long time collector of wine and just recently have added the enjoyment of smoking Cuban cigars. As I learn more, I will try to post some reviews.

I am in several wine groups that taste wines blind, so I comfortable describing what I taste in that world. Cigars not so much LOL!!!. I need to develop a palate before I scribe a tasting note or risk the chance of making a fool of myself.

My wife is accustomed to what good Bordeaux, Red Burgundy, etc. cost, so when I tell her that my new obsession is a relative bargain she just gives me one of those "you have got to be kidding me" looks. Ah well that is what 20 years of marriage does for you.

I hope to participate more in the coming months.

Regards,

Bob

Welcome Bob and thanks for the great intro.

I can safely say that everyone's contributions are valuable. The simplest way of getting going in a cigar review is to forget about what you do don't know and to sit down with a pen and pencil the next time you smoke a cigar. It will amaze you the trail of information you jot down. You will surprise yourself :cigar:
