Ken Gargett Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 i did notice in the post of that fabulous cohiba humidor that there was a comment re the cigars - "* Limited Editions . Limited yearly productions issued by Habanos SA. The LE from 2000-2005 used wrappers specially aged for two years. The wrappers come from the top of the plant and have a special Maduro (dark) color. Since 2006 all the filler leaves used for Limited Editions have been aged for a minimum of 2 years as well." i had a feeling that 'filler leaves' for LE's were originally aged for 5 years. did i dream that or am i thinking of something else or have things changed?

KG, off the top of my head I believe the five years would be the selection reserva. I'm sure someone will give a more positive answer.
