Ken Gargett Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Cuba publishes Castro's thoughts From correspondents in Havana August 05, 2009 05:25am CUBA has published a Dictionary of the Thought of Fidel Castro, a compendium of the ailing former Cuban leader's ideas as he nears his 83rd birthday. The Communist Party newspaper Granma today touted the book as "a tool of immense value to the ideological debate of our contemporary world and the task of building socialism in our country". Although forced by illness to turn over the government to his brother Raul, Castro maintains a political presence with frequent newspaper articles in a column called Reflexions of Comrade Fidel. Published by the state-run Editora Politica, the Dictionary of the Thought of Fidel Castro was the work of Salomon Susi, said Granma. A prologue described it as a "sampling of the ideology of Fidel".
