Chicago Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I picked up his book after seeing his series, "The Ascent of Money" and hearing him lecture downtown Chicago at the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations. I really enjoy his perspective on economic history. The book provides some entertaining perspective into the current crisis our economies are in.
zuma Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I would not regard myself a fan/follower... but I do have high regard for his keen insight and the succinct and eloquent way in which he explains seemingly abstruse and complex aspects of financial history and the roots of the current financial crisis. The ABC Lateline news has interviewed him at least a couple of times over the past year. There are few authors/commentators that I would regard so highly.
