Punch Punch / Cuba's Factory BOX CODES

Hello all,

I am needing some help on a box of Punch Punch Cornas Gordas i bought at the Partgas factory in Cuba 1 week ago. I noticed that Punch has 4 different types of Cornas Gordas, all same size and coming in the same box. The clerk at the Partgas shop never specified which kind I was getting.. So I have either the Black Prince, Punch Punch, Selecion #11, or according to the Habanos website a 2nd type of Punch Punch. I am hoping that the box code will help me find out which factory is was made in and then I can try find out which ones are made at that particular factory.

The box I purchased has the following box code: BLP, OCT07

(thought BLP meant Black Prince, but I really doubt this)

PS. I have searched everywhere on the net for a new list of factory codes and the most up to date I can find is up to 2003...nothing past this, if someone has an updated list of Cuban factory box codes that would be much appreciated.

Real boxes normally have labels telling you what's inside... or did they give 'em to you in a paper bag?

Factory codes are top secret these days so outside of the 07 date it is really not going to help you.

07 rules our Black Prince and Punch Super Seleccion No 2.

That leaves you with Punch Punch and Royal Seleccion No 11

Punch Royal Selecion No 11 comes from an unvarnished timeber Slide Lid box of 25. Punch Punch from a dress box of 25 (unless you bought a 50 cabinet).

Well it did for a while. I thought that 2 different Coronas Gordas came in the same box, but now I know I was totally off with that one. Thanks for the help guys!
