stargazer14 Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I am a fan of of the Partagas D#4 and was wondering if those into the brand could enlighten me on the differences between the two. Was venturing towards a box purchase of P2's but wanted to hear some thoughts on flavor experiences first. Thanks! no, thats not me.
Tampa1257 Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 If you enjoy the SD4, then you should enjoy the P2, the core Partagas flavors such as bold sweet green peppers, rich earth and leather add a touch of sea salt are found in both vitolas. Each has their own nuances as they do not taste identical. The P2 is a larger ring gauge cigar, so it for me is a touch milder than the SD4, but a longer smoke.

The p2 is my favourite production cigar. The D4 is fantastic but its rare I smoke one, they run out too quickly

Rob, H.S.A. should be receptive to a Partagas Double Robusto. The Upmann Mag 50 has been an enormous hit, and a Party version should do well, too.
