jdizzle113 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Was looking at cigars-review.org. Came across this review of the Guantanamera Cristale and just had to share: "Review #73: it was like smoking ****. And the worst part is its not a metaphor. It literally tasted and smelled ****. Dont waste a penny on this. - Submitted by spreewell on February 26, 2009" http://www.cigars-review.org/Guantanamera-Cristales.htm Makes me want to try one to understand how it could inspire so much hatred. Anyone else got any experiences like this?

stargazer14 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I dont know if I saw that flavor listed on the 'flavor wheel'
Tampa1257 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I do believe that spreewell nailed the flavor and experience. Nuff said, next!
Trevor2118 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I do believe that spreewell nailed the flavor and experience. Nuff said, next! I think that spreewell was being quite generous with his comments...
jdizzle113 Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 Ouch! Maybe I should buy some to give to enemies as good will gifts..
El Presidente Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I had my arse kicked in Havana when I described the new Montecristo Open as a Guantanamera Fuerte

aavkk Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I dont know, I'll bet "****" develops into some deep earthy flavors. Depending on the quality of excriment in question we could be talking about a hell of a cigar after 5-7 years of age...
Jimmy2 Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 When I first started smoking CC cigars some of the old timers that I know said don't go near them they are what lays at the bottom of the East River.

Martindelmundo Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I must say this was one of the worst cigars I've ever smoked. this brand for me is the best definition of a petrafied dog ****. So in conclusion this cigar sucks. Rating
cigarsarge Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I bought a 10 pack once...I smoked one half of one cigar. I gave the rest away. They are a poor excuse of a cigar.
BigRay023 Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I am so glad I found this forum and read this thread. Being a total noob I was Going to buy some just because of the price and hope they would turn out decent like JLP Now I saw manure on the flavor wheel but I am assuming sh!t is worse
Taino Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 ...to be fair, they are not fine smokes or even close, but I rather smoke a guantanamera than many hand made NC rated over 80 by cigar aficionado...
