n2advnture Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I had some recently and wasn't impressed but that may have been because I smoked one side by side with a "prototype" blend that was SUPPOSED to be the 2008 blend (it was STELLAR but unfortunately, not the same blend). I'll give them another try in a few months. The ECCJ is supposed to do a blind tasting review in an upcoming issue. I hope this helps ~Mark

So are these regular production or EL? The one I had had a gold and black label, I think, with a picture of the old PArtagas factory on it.

Van55 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 It is my understanding that they are now in regular production, but they are supposed to be available from LCDH franchisees only. I picked up a box when Rob had the Partagas marca on 20% off special last month. Probably won't touch it for a couple of years. Actually, to avoid the temptation I should have had Lisa put it in my locker in Brisbane. Too late now.
