GTS21 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 See MRN, pg 58. Pretty cool packaging. Had a chance to smoke one this past summer, and it was quite good, very unique.

smokem Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Last pic: do I see bicho holes in that nice vintage cigar??? Are you talking about the shadows caused by the spots on the glass?
Professor Twain Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Are you talking about the shadows caused by the spots on the glass? Those do look like beetle holes, just under the label in the last picture, right in the middle.

Yes exactly, if you look in a straight line under the "STA" letters of the CRISTALTUBO writing you see some pretty disturbing holes. Anyway, even if they are, I think there should be no reason to panic, as beetles can dig holes in wood and therefore spread from box to box, but they cant dig into glass, so the problem should be confined to that cigar only.
Ryan Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 To me it looks like there are tiny flecks of tobacco on the inside of the glass, the "holes" on the cigar look like the shadows cast from them onto the cigar. Anyway, they look too small to be beetle holes.
