Well after signing up on FOH almost three years ago, I decided I'd better get around to introducing myself and finally get active on the board.

I've been smoking cigars for about twelve years and was kidnapped by the Habana leaf probably eight years ago. Probably 80-90 percent of everything I've smoked since has been cubans until the last year or so. I started checking out some of the new cigars on the non-cuban scene and have found several that have been a nice change of pace. I reside in Oklahoma and have worked in the oil and gas business for the last 30 years. Married with three grown sons and my best buddy in the world, my 2 1/2 year old grandson.

I post on several other cigar forums going by the same username. I recognize several people here form some of those forums. I look forward to getting to know everyone here that I don't know yet and chatting with those who I do know.

Hey Roman, I wondered where you had disappeared to, good to see ya. You still doing the Operation Support the Troops thing?

Right Back at ya, m friend....

Unfortunately - there is still a real need to keep up the Support Our Soldiers efforts... Over 1500 cigars were sent out to A'stan and The Big Sandox around the Holidays.... I'm looking forward to the days when I can just send packages to a domestic addy - rather than an overseas APO in a war zone.

I hear ya both on the unfortunately and looking forward parts. Hopefully that day of sending packages to domestic addy's will come sooner than later. Glad to hear that the cigar effort is still under way.
