Some more Kayak fishing:

A few cigars, and a quick escape from life for some short fishing trips.

This is from a park called West lake it is the back side, and I get in by jumping across a large river. I have been doing this spot for years, and have even been there at night. It is a strange fishing spot more peace then anything, and more getting away from people issues for me.

These trips were tops 2 hours each one....quick hit & run:

Here are some shots: Started the day with a Rocky Patel Sun Grown, and later did a Grand Cubano. Rocky Patel was great nice and strong, but the Grand Cubano was not good at all.

The long skinny fish are Barracuda. The photo I took was not that great it was a pretty nice size. She was longer then my arm. Also I had never had a Cuda jump out of the water like a Tarpon.

Information:

The barracuda is a ray-finned fish known for its large size (up to 6 ft in length and up to a foot in width, for some species)[2] and fearsome appearance. Its body is long, fairly compressed, and covered with small, smooth scales. It is a salt water fish, and is found in tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide.

The Darker fish is a fresh water Bass.

I was there in the above locations after Snook......they are very hard to come by you have to stock them, and hunt them. We are in the process of building a huge salt water fish hatchery....to process over 10 to 12 billion fish to be release back into the wild. If we do not do this we are looking at a fish less future. Please keep in mind that over 10 million is spent by fisher in FLA over an hour each day.
