Yes.....why don't all our small and Medium size businesses tell the bank that 3. "We need a Healthy Stock Market". No we don't. We need a healthy economy. The stock market follows you morons. 4. "The market wants Super premium cigars" No ....the market wants well priced, consistant quality cigars. We don't purchase cigars because james Bond had them in his latest 300 million dollar movie! Don't fricken compare habanos to Pol Roger, Moet ot Mercedes Benz until you can match their Fricken Consistency!!!!!!!!!! 5. Lisa needs a Pay Rise! PigFish Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 still think lisa needs a pay rise. Jesus... she proves this every time she manages to survive one of those video reviews without laughing herself to death. In all fairness to Rob I think you should contribute Ken.
Ken Gargett Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Jesus... she proves this every time she manages to survive one of those video reviews without laughing herself to death. In all fairness to Rob I think you should contribute Ken. i should clarify my position - unpaid outsidly. e observer status. not an employee/manager/parasite (well, perhaps that) at czars. if lisa is waiting on me to fork out, hungry days ahead. as it is, i pay most of her salary indirect
sounddust Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Point 4's right on. Also, I just had about enough of these real gold-wrapped bits of vegetation stuffed into those l'l treasure chests made of wookie ****. It's like trying to sell a gold-plated Proton with Vegemite seats.
Colt45 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Hey, someone has to pay for all that free health care........
Lanthor Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Couldn't agree more with you on these points...well at least on 1-4, still want to get my orders you know.
SamuraiJack Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 3. "We need a Healthy Stock Market". No we don't. We need a healthy economy. The stock market follows you morons. DAMN STRAIGHT.
Jay Hemingway Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 i'm gonna go with "lise needs a pay raise" on this one! lol
Mel Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Sorry Lisa you make plenty. When I hear my customers talking about giving the staff a pay raise I immediately tell them price of the procedure we are doing just went up. They recant the raise talk when they find out that the consumer pays the bills. Keep the cigar reasonable and tell Lisa to live modestly. I agree with the other rants.
Punch Joe Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Shall let it written, shall let it done!! good rant. P.s.: Who needs an Audi8 anyway? did I say that?

MEL, I PROPOSE NO CHANGE TO OVERALL outgoings. merely deduct lisa's pay rise from the excess smithy is paid. everyone happy. wookies don't count.
CIGARHead Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 5. Lisa needs a Pay Rise! I have a deskfull of "Lisa needs a Payrise..I Love Lisa E-mails!!!!!!!! I love Lisa too! Which sycophant sent me picture of the Audi R8 as " a car I think Lisa should drive" !!!! You people are going to send me broke End of this Quarters rant....I feel better Yes, a pay rise would be great Rob. Also, Im sure since you are such a stand up bloke that you have provided Lisa 100% maternity insurance coverage and 3 months paid maternity leave....oh, and bring the lady some diapers, bottles and one of those things that squeeks when you press it - kids love those.
PigFish Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Gotta' love when your rant gets shoved down you throat!!! Rob... go on vacation already! -Piggy Mel... you should have saved that comment for when Lisa Dear was on leave. YOU ****ed now baby! -LOL
Trevor2118 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 1. If I hear of another bailout I am going to throw up. When did we decide that "too big to fail" was part of of Capitalism? Small and Medium business can go to the wall because ...well...they are not "Too Big to Fail?" F Off. Fully agree on this one! Ran my own business for around 30 years, and all I got from the Government was tax bills, paperwork, and more bloody paperwork.
gyosa Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 rob, i think lisa's husband needs an audi R8 as well ..... -bk
Fatcigar Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 1. If I hear of another bailout I am going to throw up. When did we decide that "too big to fail" was part of of Capitalism? Small and Medium business can go to the wall because ...well...they are not "Too Big to Fail?" F Off. * 70%+ of US businesses are SMEs but why Government only care about the BIG guys (GM, Microsoft, Boeing etc)...it is called lobbyists. 2. "Budget Deficits are a good thing". Yes.....why don't all our small and Medium size businesses tell the bank that * Credit lines are cut on all businesses worldwide. Hurting the most are SMEs, especially the retail sectors. 80/20 rule! 3. "We need a Healthy Stock Market". No we don't. We need a healthy economy. The stock market follows you morons. * Speechless... * Good, well-priced cigars are the likes of RYJ Cazadores, JL #2, Bolivar RC, PSD4 etc...but they don't pay your bills! 5. You people are going to send me broke * That is called Managing Expectation... End of this Quarters rant....I feel better we are no professor of economics but this global recession is different from all others because the credit defaults causing liquidity panic and infusion of liquidity does not solve the problem...since credit is part of most people's consumption, this may trigger a phenomenal change in consumer behaviors in the future. consumer confidence is the answer !!

Correct Fatcigar. If I am CEO of a major bank and I know I am hiding 20% of my "assets" from full disclosure.....why would I lend to another Financial institiution or busness? How much are they hiding? We need a clean global slate. Everyone tables their crap. You have between now and 30th June 2009 to do so. Anything not tabled past that date you cannot writeoff for 5 years nor borrow against it. It cannot form part of an assistance package nor form part of your Capital adequacy ratio (for countries smart enough to insist upon that in their banking charter). Instill the above and you will work out if you have a 2 Trillion dollar problem or a 5 Trillion dollar problem You simply cannot rectify what you do not know.

You hit the nail on the head but if past history ever taught us anything at all is that big businesses are the worst in disclosure and in playing fair. Take the example of AIG, they know clearly that their problem is worse than $58b bridge loan, that's why they chose the strongest escape goat - US Government and now all their emplyees are technically government employees with no layoff YET !

Smith gets paid?????? For what?? All I see the bloke do is smoke free cigars. Sorry Smithy I have to admit that I pay sheilas for services but not the blokes.
bassman Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Hey, James Bond is classy. He drinks Bollinger. not Pol Roger!
