Colt45 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 If you are a fan of Guy Ritchie movies, this one is entertaining and worth a look. In my opinion not quite as good as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, or ******, but better than Revolver (though I did enjoy revolver)
Bill Hayes Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Seen it. Agree. But I reckon some of the blokes on this forum might identify more closely with 'The Wrestler'. "I'm a broke down peice of meat". Although 'Slumdog Millionaire' is a little more feel good.

I thought it a great flick and I'm looking forward to part two. By chance, did you recognise the band on the cigars that The Councilor and The Gov were smoking? I honestly think they may have been Cuban Dunhills (based on shape and colour).
habanablue Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Great flick. Thandie Newton is a class act if you ask me.
anacostiakat Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Looking to see it too when I get a chance. . .

Al, I couldn't see the bands clearly, but I thought Dunhill as well. As the weather here has been crap as of late, I haven't had a cigar for about two weeks or so - watching others smoke has got me antsy..... And Ms. Newton played her role very well.....

I feel for you man. So humid right now that we're smoking Petit Corona 'cause anything else is getting saturated before it burns down. I honestly don't recall much of the rest of the movie except for Ms. Newton
