Don Candido Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 now that is far more impressive than el prez signing up under 18 different aliases. I knew this thing was rigged! I want my money back!
Colt45 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I know I'll sound the wet blanket............ There was a time when member #s, individual, and collective post counts were paid little attention to......
Don Candido Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 That is why this great accomplishment got a single clap from me. And why I joked about the rigging. I guess my humor is too dry and straightforward for the less intellectual members of our sight. No offense to anyone who may have posted after me; or who may be a lesser intellectual (you know who you are!) Love, The Village Idiot
Colt45 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 That is why this great accomplishment got a single clap from me. Add to it that as of late, Gargett has become the welcome wagon..... the sky is green, the grass is blue - we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto. I guess my humor is too dry and straightforward for the less intellectual members of our sight. No offense to anyone who may have posted after me; or who may be a lesser intellectual (you know who you are!) Wapner.
Ken Gargett Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Add to it that as of late, Gargett has become the welcome wagon..... the sky is green, the grass is blue - we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto. well, someone has to. el prez has abandoned his post.
Don Candido Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Wapner? As in Judge Wapner or something else. I am feeling lesser intellectual at the moment...
Don Candido Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Friggin' Gargett this and Gargett that. The more you mention him, the bigger his head gets! It doesn't fit on my screen anymore...
Trevor2118 Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 Wapner? As in Judge Wapner or something else. I am feeling lesser intellectual at the moment... Looks like I put the cat among the pigeons (and Yos put the cat in the box??) ........................I think this is all over my head.....
Ken Gargett Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Friggin' Gargett this and Gargett that. The more you mention him, the bigger his head gets! It doesn't fit on my screen anymore... buy a bigger screen.
Colt45 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Wapner? As in Judge Wapner or something else. I am feeling lesser intellectual at the moment... See the "we've reached 3000 members" thread. I guess my humor is too dry and straightforward for the less intellectual members of our sight. And if I may, Mr. Intellectual, I believe the proper term is site, as opposed to sight. Now back to my possum stew.........
Ginseng Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 In addition to last weeks 3,000 members, the 100K post mark has been reached Whatever the significance, these milestones are worthy of note. A healthy, growing community is nothing to sneeze at. There was a time when member #s, individual, and collective post counts were paid little attention to...... True. And I don't think any of those things are really held in the same regard here as they might be at other forums. That is to say, the impression I've gotten is that members here might notice these things, but little gravity is afforded these arbitrary figures. That said, I think that no matter the total forum post count, it could reasonably be argued that Friends of Habanos is the most information-rich Habanos forum on the internet. Well, I mean, leaving out the posts about wallabies, male prostitutes, and rugby. Wilkey
Don Candido Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 See the "we've reached 3000 members" thread. And if I may, Mr. Intellectual, I believe the proper term is site, as opposed to sight. Now back to my possum stew......... Wow, Mr. Counter-Intellectual! The proper term could be site; but what if I were talking about the collective group of people on FOH with our same vision, those with our sight?
