yossie Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I'm smoking it right now to celebrate the comming year. It tastes just musky and has only the single dimention... I know Upmann ages well but may be not great in young... I can't beleive this cigar cost me 350 USD.. On the contrary, I'm satisfied with recent No.2 and magnum50..

More like seven or eight. . .
Habanos2000 Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Put them down for at least five. More like seven or eight. . . Damn, who has that kind of patience?
aavkk Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Yossie, sorry to hear these didnt do it for you taste wise. I dont have any experience with the 08's but the 03's are fantastic and still available as far as I know. If you can get them they are worth the effort.
El Presidente Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 There are few exeptions to "Upmanns don't smoke well young". Winstons are not one of those exceptions. Put it away and forget. Nice watch

shrink Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Nice watch A watch? I thought it was a friggin' UFO!
sandholm Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 A watch? I thought it was a friggin' UFO! I knew it was ORIS who stole my new wook... Cool watch, really cool to see so many people into swiss handmade watches. Personal i am a huge fan of BlancPain and there Le Brassus watch. I can just sit and look when the tourbillon spins, just such a beautiful piece of machinery. cheers
Professor Twain Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I seem to remember a previous discussion where many of us said we had never even seen young Sir Winstons... that they were usually not released until they were at least three years old. Maybe it is my imagination. Is this a change in policy to have them out on the market so young?
yossie Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 Hi Professor. I have no idea what Habanos thinks but Czar crews didn't mind it at least.
bassman Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Yes, don't waste those 08s. The 03s are smoking great now.
