Can't wait to see some picture with your sticks in it! Forget the typo.. Well, The customs wont tax for it. as you know, Czar crews do great job against customs office So,I like the shop. I guess I will receive the humidor but the seasoning takes a few days at least. So, I will upload after that!
Don Candido Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Seasoning? You are getting too involved for us Yos. We will not see a difference between the seasoned or "pre-seasoned" humidor.
SmokinAl Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Just in time for Christmas too! Let me know if you have any problems Yossie. I was going to write out some instructions but I'm sure you'll manage it all. Cheers, Al
yossie Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 Thank you Alain. I received it this afternoon. It doesn't have hyglometer and humidifier from the first right? and I can't find out the instruction. Isn't it included? It's OK. What I can't understand to use is only the deepest layer.

I am sure we put in a digital hygrometer and some 65% Puck Beads? I will re-send on monday but likely they are being enjoyed by Japanese Customs. No instructions Yossie. It's a humidor.......not a coffee maker
yossie Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 Thanks Rob. I checked it out again and found only shock absorber. The customs s***s They opened the parcel and sealed. I guess They forgot putting the 2 goods in the time..

Using beads, I don't much worry about hygrometers. When the beads start to turn white, top them off with a little distilled water. You'll find the air flows well through this one. you shouldn't ever need to do anything except check the beads once a month.
yossie Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 Hey Al! I know basic things about humidor but still can not understand the drawer on the deepest layer. What's that? Since I am on Tatami mat(I'm not sure you know it or not), I can't use it though...

Since I am on Tatami mat(I'm not sure you know it or not), I can't use it though... Hi Yossie, The drawer at the bottom is in two sections. THe one at the back is for humidification and the one at the front is to keep cigar cutters, lighters or very short chopsticks as you see fit
Don Candido Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 That humidor is some beautiful work Al! The crossed bottoms of the trays are a particularly nice touch. Enjoy it Yossie; we know you will.
