KB24
I lowered my humidity and temp levels in my Aristocrat early last week and have maintained a pretty stable 64/64 for about 7 days now and I just smoked an AVO #2 Classic and what a difference lower humidity has made. I now understand why I had to relight my cigars 3 times and why the burn was never straight, they were too wet. WOW is all I can say. Wet cigars of no bueno!!! -Patrick
Acceptance449
I remember when I lowered my Cigar Oasis from factory set 70 to 63. I haven't looked back since, and I concur with you, sir, that the lower RH helped out a ton.
Colt45
Good to hear it KB. An over humidified cigar often times will also be muddled flavor wise. Did you note any flavor difference?

I didn't notice any harshness that the last couple had which probably was a cause of them being too wet. I look forward to lighting up a cuban and seeing the difference. That's a nice little smoke. -Patrick

You should find far fewer draw problems as well as better aging in the long term with more concentrated and subtle flavors. ~Mark
