Spartan Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Finally got around to a little project... I scored a nice humidor for storing unopened boxes. It was a store display unit by CAO (like this one) I wasn't diggin the veneer so I popped off the legs, sealed off the interior and starting pimpin' :-D Now I'm not a handy kind of guy, pretty much notorious for screwing **** up...but so far it's coming along. :-P To be cont....

It's a 300ct humidor with 4 removeable cedar draws. If you remove the draws, I would say you could easily store 6 or more boxes of smokes (depending on the size of the boxes) I was very apprehansive about painting veneer...I found this new stuff from Krylon that's supposed to be great for painting plastics & glass. We'll see how it goes...

What does the inside look like? 4 draws are removeable, I wont be using them...I want to utilize all the interior space to store boxes. Cheap-ass temp/hygrometer from Walmart. ($6.00) All thats left to do is toss in a bag of humidity beads and start fillin' this sucker up! :-D
