What's the biggest czar sale you all have partook in, courtesy of our generous hosts here?

You know...if you were going to make a BIG purchase...what have you seen that you would wait for again?

It is seldom more than 15-20% but you are asking the wrong question.

Would you pay 15% more for a superlative box of cigars than a good box of cigars. I would but that is not saying that someone who says "no" is wrong.

In a sale situation everyone gets good to very good to superlative boxes. Outside of sale periods there are more superlative boxes to go around.

Just buy the best cigars possible ;-)

I agree...A good deal (or price) on an bad product is a "Bad Deal" no matter how you look at it!

A couple of years ago, both RA and Lisa were away on holiday. They left KG to mind the store.

He had a dollar sale - any box, one dollar.

While this probably wasn't exactly courtesy of our "generous hosts", it was the greatest sale

I've seen nonetheless.

I believe KG blamed the depleted stock on Smithy.

Wow...that is classic.

The thing I've heard from others, and what I look forward to finding out for myself in the upcoming days (come on airMail)...is that the "good" from RA and crew, pales the superlative from other suppliers due to the individual attention paid by Lisa and crew in selecting outgoing stock.

Regardless...the quality and ability to rest easy at night knowing the legitimacy of Czar's stock is priceless, compared to using any other vendor...sale or not.

"Superlative" sounds good Rob...good choice of priority. ;-)

» Speaking of sale, didn't El Presidente post recently that there was an

» case!

Sale on until Aug 14th, 15% off, if I recall correctly

i, of course, deny all knowledge of this. and can't imaine rob has ever been silly enough to leave me in charge (but colt, many thanks for the under-the-table kickback).

surely the greatest sale ever made at czars was when a mate and i split a cab of punch SS2's on a trip to havana. i left my mate's half with rob to pass on when our mutual friend dropped by. he did a few weeks later so rob told him he had some great cigars to sell him. so my mate bought them again but forgot to take them with him. i think rob managed to sell them about three times (i would never make something like that up, ever, seriously).

There is some semblance of truth to that story :lol2:
