Nice picks very intresting the 1950's are the most to me as my Uncle use to run a casino there if you know what i mean ...;-)

fantastic photos.

bit scary that so much of i is so recognisable many decades later.

the malecon baths is interesting. have often wondered what caused the formation on the other side of the wall. now i know.

Man, there was a Sears indeed. You couldn´t believe it how far we were compared to other Latin Americans countries and even Europe. Did you know thet we had Railroads way before it was introduced in Spain? 1837!!! I have the railroad map around that era and only 40 km long. It was expanded shortly afterwards;-)

Kenny, I have a beautiful picture of the Malecon Baths nowadays. It was made after the Festival and it´s awesome to see hte way they did it in such a short time. Its a revival of the old Malecon baths. Bet you like itimage7507.jpg
