vegard_dino Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Hi all Well, first I have to say thanks to you all for helping me with my humidor.. I got a new one now, with a puk from credo and also a thermo/hygrometer from them. But, today I got my box of trinidad´s! Oh, yes! A box, 24 Trinidad Fundadores. Box code CLE EO 00( and then in hand writhing 87), CLE ES 00. I do not know about the box code, but they are from a cigar shop in Switzerland. 100% genuine. So they say:-P .......lol. But, to a question.....stupid maybe. After I smoke a cigar from Trinidad( the next day if I smoke it late) I feel so fresh and clean in my mouth. But, with a cigar from Punch and Ramon Allones I get a "sticky" feeling in my mouth.....well, maybe it is only me, crazy or not.. ....I have not been smoking cigars for a long time, just starting, but it is something I have been thinking about. Have anyone else got that feeling???????? Or am I going mad???:-D Thanks for looking Vegard
Tampa1257 Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 While I can not say why you experience what you do in your mouth, I can say that the Trinidad Fundadore is an elegant cigar, on the same lines of a Cohiba Lancero. The Box Code EO 00 is for Sept 1999, and the ES 00 is June 1999, the factory code of CLE, is not one that is listed as a known Factory code on Cigarnexus. The Trinidad Fundadore's from 1998 for me were absolutely one of the finest cigars ever rolled. You should enjoy them!

Hi Vegard, As far as lingering aftertastes, I think of a Fundadores as a lighter cigar than a Punch or RA, so it makes sense to me that you would taste the the Trinidad less the next day.
SmokinAl Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Hi Vergard, You mentioned you got a puck from Credo? No kidding mate, you're not doing yourself any favours. Your humidity WILL be much more inclined to spike then with a Puck. http://www.cigarmony.com/index.asp?PageAct...PROD&ProdID=267 Next time you're thinking "what wrong with the humidity" here's your answer in advance.
KB24 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I had my first Fundi today at the local shop and I enjoyed it. Smooth and mild!!!
