monte d Posted June 19, 2008 Author Posted June 19, 2008 thanks, tampa. i prefer full bodied cigars most of the time. Romeo churchill tubos, monte 2, and D, of course. cohiba siglo vi. RASS is a favorite, as well, along with the venerable serie d no. 4. in addition to full body, an earthy flavor as well as spiciness suits me well. i'm not being a snob, but i never met a machine made cigar that i liked...lol i hope to share more experiences and hear from a great number of you. peter

monte d Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 thank you, everyone. hey , is it true that connecticut shade is grown in cuba for their wrappers?
El Presidente Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 » hey , is it true that connecticut shade is grown in cuba for their » wrappers? No...but I have heard it many times from US based manufactures. They then go on to say that Nic and Honduran tobacco is exported to Cuba to make up leaf shortfall. I heard this again Wednesday. I didn't even bother to point out that HSA currently has three years reserve leaf supply.
