SCARY S**T

So with all of the posts regarding insects, bugs, spiders, fish, demons and the like. I thought I would open a thread for everyone to share a story of the scariest whatever that you have experienced.

Ken...althought those photos of mostly naked dudes, hairy people, fat people and the like that you seemed to post an infinate number of (not going to even ask what your google history looks like) is truly disturbing they dont count.

Now that I have thought of this idea I have to take a bit to challenge myself to reopen the mental blocks of things I have seen and I will post mine when it comes to me.

Ok,

So I have been thinking about it. When I was younger 10 or so, I was living in a small town in KY. I was planning to fish in a small river not to far from the house. I went with my dog, a black lab at the time. We were walking along the river edge when I stepped in a pile of leaves covering a hole. Out from the hole slithered out approximately 50 or so baby cottonmouth snakes.

Apparently they were not too happy with me disturbing the nest and started to follow me as I ran. My trusty dog decided to fend them off as I ran. Needless to say he did not survive the experince but I did not get bit.

I miss that dog.

You have to love dogs.

When my father came to Australia as a single man he cut sugar cane during the season and then spent 7 months shooting saltwater crocodiles for skins in North Queensland and Northern Territory.

He lost 12 dogs in 8 years. Not quite sure if there is a croc in a waterhole?....shouldn't be....no signs....water a little fresh.....don't risk it....send rover to fetch a stick.
