jay8354
Why does the photo look suspiciously like he just drove there and bought the fish from the Guy on the Right?

GoatLocker
» ... they have » obviously been netted by someone else and given to Ken for the photo  lol, hey, at least they would be cheaper that way! By the time you pay for the boat, gas, maintenance, gear, beer, etc, we're paying triple what we could get them for at the market! Just don't tell my wife! Ken Gargett
greetings. if i may address a few points. first, i think that in the states, where i gather they grow much bigger than ours, they are called bluefin not bluefish - perhaps one of our brethren from across the pond could clarify? they are octopus straps, not suspenders, and not mine. those fish were actually the bait... no cost of a boat involved - those caught from the beach in front of the lodge. the real cost of the trip (provided one doesn't sink a car, which didn't happen this time) is the plonk. as for the chap on the side, doesn't everyone take their own fishcleaner on such trips? finally, rob, these are fish and if you keep practicing, one day you will catch one.
